How To: Clean a RV’s AC Vents and Vent Fan Screens
What’s the best way to clean your air conditioning intake filter and vent fan screens? How often should you do it? We asked Kristi from the Adventurtunity Family to walk us through the simple cleaning process they use to ensure the cleanest possible air on their Holiday Rambler:
What you’ll need:
- paper towels
- cleaning wipes
How to clean your RV’s AC Vents:
- Cover a nearby table or countertop with dry paper towels
- Remove the outer plastic pieces that cover your RV’s air filters
- Slide out the filters and wipe down the filter areas with cleaning wipes
- Place filters and filter covers on dry paper towels and remove all dust and dirt from each of them with a fresh cleaning wipe
- Rinse the filters and filter covers with water then return them to the paper towels to dry
- To clean your RV’s vent fan screens, follow the same exact process as you used to clean your RV’s air filters
