Celebrating Earth Day: How We’re Driving Toward a More Sustainable Future 🌎♻️

At Holiday Rambler, Earth Day isn’t just one day on the calendar — it’s a reflection of the everyday choices we make to reduce waste, conserve energy, and protect the planet we’re so lucky to explore in our motorhomes.

This year, we’re proud to share a few of the ways our teams across the company are working together to build a more sustainable future — one coach at a time.

Reuse, Repurpose, Recycle — Especially Wood

We believe in giving materials a second life. Rather than sending unused wood to landfills, we shred and repurpose it as a fuel source to help heat our plant. This practice not only reduces waste, but also turns potential landfill material into something useful and efficient.

Salvaging Metal the Smart Way

All metal scrap is collected and contracted back to metal recovery companies, keeping it out of landfills and putting it back into the supply chain where it belongs.

Cleaner Paint Practices

Our paint process is designed with efficiency and sustainability in mind. Instead of mixing large, wasteful batches, we prepare only the amount of paint needed — significantly reducing excess materials and minimizing environmental impact.

Keeping Our Space (and Yours) Clean

We perform regular yard sweeps and air filter changes to maintain a clean, safe environment both inside and outside our facilities. Small steps like these go a long way toward protecting our local ecosystem.

Smarter Lamination for Safer Air

Yes, glue is essential in our lamination process — but we’re committed to doing it responsibly. The glue we use is water-activated, not chemically activated, which means fewer harmful chemicals are released into the environment during production.

Storm Water Management

All of our plants are storm water permitted, which means we’re held to high standards when it comes to runoff and environmental impact. We conduct quarterly visual inspections and annual third-party lab testing of our storm water outfalls to ensure our practices aren’t contributing to pollution.

Recycled Water in Our Rain Bay

Our new rain bay system is equipped to recycle the water used in leak testing. Instead of wasting gallons of water down the drain, we collect it in a tank, reuse it, and monitor it carefully through a metering system to ensure sustainability.

Compliance Through Careful Inspections

All spray booths across our facilities undergo daily, weekly, and monthly inspections to make sure filters are in place and working properly — a critical requirement under our Title V environmental permit.

We know sustainability is a journey, not a destination — and we’re committed to continuing that journey with care, responsibility, and innovation.

From everyone at Holiday Rambler, Happy Earth Day! Here’s to traveling greener and treating our planet with the respect it deserves. 🌿
